A national French TV show phoned up MindFreedom to say they are  
flying a journalist to the USA next week to investigate ZYPREXA, the  
psychiatric neuroleptic drug, which is starting to become a  
phenomenon in France.

Today I had a long phone discussion with the journalist, Cécile  
Delarue, who is planning to visit the USA fairly SOON.

While there is never a guarantee, she sounds intelligent,  
professional and sincerely interested in hearing about the human  
rights problems caused by Eli Lilly's fraudulent pushing of Zyprexa.

Hi David,

Thanks a lot for your time and help!

As I told you on the phone, I'm trying to make a feature story about  
Zyprexa and the side effects of this medication.

In order to explain and show the story, I need a few things, and  
mostly I need to meet people...

I would have liked to interview someone who has been on zyprexa and  
has been diagnosed with diabetes.

How did he/she discovered he/she had blood sugar problem ?

Was there gain weight ?

Did he/she first thought that it was linked with the zyprexa ?

Did he/she decided to sue Eli lilly ?

Why ?

How did he / she feel ?


The idea would be to meet the person at his/her place, and talk about  
the problem,

I am also willing to show that Zyprexa has also been given to  
children, and would like to interview parents, grand parents or close  
family of kids who where or are given the drug...

I know it's hard to find people, but it is very important to explain  
the problems of the Zyprexa to the French public...

I'll be in the US next week, and would prefer to meet people around  
New York, Indiana or Texas.
